The
parts I sell are what our American friends would call “New Old Stock” (NOS).
They are unused, but can be thirty or more years old! Nearly every item on my list is of
genuine origin, ie Triumph, (Stanpart), British Leyland, or Unipart. Lamps and electrical parts were
manufactured by Lucas, brake parts
by Girling or Lockheed. Tank
senders, instruments etc are of Smiths origin. Many parts are still in their
original packaging, which is a nostalgia trip in itself… It has always been
difficult and time-consuming to find stock, and it is getting more difficult
every day. Selling the stuff is the easy part!
